Here she is, the dusky grumpy doctor lady! Small but fierce. Follow her instructions and take your meds or she'll find a way to medically incapacitate you to make it happen. #art #anthro #furry #furryart #dragon #drake #abyssdrake

She probably has this in her personal stock lol

Of course I decided to start on a ref for Xolani to match Circe's. Grumpy doctor gets TWO outfits on her page, though, because I couldn't decide. :] #art #anthro #furry #furryart #dragon #drake #abyssdrake

I was instantly reminded of this "hear me out cake" thing I saw the kids doing where one put her friend's dad on the cake, and had to do this real quick xD

And it is done! Nice shiny new reference for Circe. And Ambrose made it onto there as well, I can't just mention her bite scar and not show off the culprit! #art #anthro #furry #furryart #dragon #drake #abyssdrake

I still have a ways to go with other things, but I must say this is probably my favorite part of Circe's new ref sheet so far. :3 #art #anthro #furry #furryart #dragon #drake #abyssdrake

If it'll help you take your mind off things, you can doodle dumb feral Ambrose being extra animalistic. Hope whatever's going on in your life right now resolves quickly and easily. :<

Imagine my panic when I went to open this file, and found the file completely merged into one layer. Thank god for CSP's back-up feature, I was able to find a prev. version where it wasn't collapsed. Anyhow, Circe's getting a new ref! #art #dragon #drake #abyssdrake #furry #furryart #anthro

I suppose I'm a bit picky. I'll try most things once, unless I am very certain I won't like it even before trying it. Some of these "kinda" highlights are because I want them prepped very specifically for me to like them. Some of the "don't like"s I used to like, and then my palate changed!

120

🌒 Kit 🌘 @silverdragonkit.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I'm not planning on doing anything with it, I just decided to mess about with CSP's animation capabilities for the sake of it. It's a very, very loosey-goosey sketchy animation. #art #dragon #dragonart #animation #furry #furryart

This is all I have left from the early years, because my best friend still had it amongst a pile of old things from then. Kit from '04. No Vale, because all his art was digital and I had a big ol' HD crash that deleted everything and made me rage-quit art for a good while. Back up your files! 📁

🌒 Kit 🌘 @silverdragonkit.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Just for fun, I decided to go back and look at how Kit and Vale have changed over the last few years that I started drawing them again. As well as general improvement. I'd have included their early 2000s designs too, if I had any surviving art. :P #art #dragon #dragonart #furry #furryart #anthro

My piece, versus what someone decided to make with it. All he seems to have done was take out the horns and shorten the ears, he may have used AI or may have edited it down himself, because so much other areas are identical still. This person also just has my unedited piece on his profile.

I need to redo his barbels so they aren't as overlapping between the front + back views. But more progress on Vale! Next up is to sketch out and redo his quadruped form. #art #furry #furryart #anthro #dragon

🌒 Kit 🌘 @silverdragonkit.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

I am attempting to do a proper new reference for Vale and in the process, updating his markings again. His barbels are getting shifted to his cheeks to match Kit :] He's still going to be brown and earthy, but the tones may get tweaked as I go. #art #dragon #anthro #furry #furryart

I did a very loose re-tooling of some older art to flesh out the facial flap colors for Circe's kyononix friend. Tropical sunset versus tropical daytime vibes? Hmmm, I'm not sure which direction to go. I like both of them for different reasons. #art #scifi #creature

🌒 Kit 🌘 @silverdragonkit.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

These are the reference photos, which I admit, I did loosely trace over for the sake of getting a sketch underneath to work with. ¯\_ (ᵕ—ᴗ—)_/¯ I also need to fix which leg Circe's pouch is on, I forgot to flip the canvas back.

A photo of Sir David Attenborough with a sea lion pup.

An old Finnish photo I found online, and this is what I could find about what the subject is: "Ahti Herlevi (son of Jalmari and Ellen Maria Herlevi, born 1915) with a horse in Lappeenranta. The photo is estimated to be from the 1940s."

I'm overdue for drawing Circe as a naturalist, and making an unlikely friend in the process. An early meeting, and current day. Once she caved, interfered, and helped him survive through his infancy, she'd made a friend for life. #art #furry #furryart #anthro #dragon #drake #abyssdrake #scifi

A loose sketch of a drake crouching and reaching out towards a small, eyeless, quadrupedal creature - a kyononix - sitting in the foreground, looking up towards her curiously.

A loose sketch of the same drake and the now-grown kyononix standing on its hind limbs with its front limbs hooked over her shoulders, baring its teeth and flaring its facial crests playfully. The drake holds onto its forelimbs and looks at the viewer proudly. They are in a field clearing with mountains in the background.

There's an alternate version of the pup picture where they're closer to canon in that they're pale with only barely-showing markings. I don't know if their eyes start blue when babies that get color later, but it looked weird to have their adult colors, so I tinted them bluish.

Pulling out an older WIP to work on! Xolani and Aurek have been friends since they were tiny pups, and it's lucky she didn't bite his face off then. Some adults probably intervened to keep her from eating him. Now he greets her like this. #art #furry #furryart #drake #abyssdrake #dragon

Oh, long necked birds and their postures. I love when pelicans do a neck stretch and you can see their entire neck. It's so fun to show people when pelican talk comes up and see their reaction xD

Castor probably spotted Erys from across the way at a farmer's market, holding a breed of chug he's never seen, and approached with his own bird to strike up a convo. He's a shy guy, but throw some animals into the mix and he gets braver! #art #furry #furryart #anthro #drake #dragon #veildrake

Oh yeah I'm aware of these guys, very much so, I don't think these became public knowledge until... like ten years ago, when they resurfaced? I'm talking about my own experience over the years before all that. Some of the beta designs were WEIRD, like WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH BETA BAYLEEF.

He does bring up that exact study in the video within the first minute... xD He references it a few times throughout for the whole concept! I don't think he was trying to claim credit for the idea, or doing a proper study of his own, just doing something to riff on that concept for his YT channel.

I also wanted to work in the plant growth I've occasionally drawn on Kit in the past into this. Usually originating in her mane, but it will come from other spots as well. Is it her blood? Something just innate to her form? Who knows!

🌒 Kit 🌘 @silverdragonkit.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

Here she is, shiny new Kit for 2026! I did love her older look, but I also wanted to implement some new things, specifically making her more "silver" and making the dark eyes I often draw more of her base form. #art #fantasy #dragon #anthro #furry #furryart #dragonart

🌒 Kit 🌘 @silverdragonkit.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

Toying with just how 1:1 I want Kit's markings to be in noodle form relative to the anthro one, it's surprising how indecisive I am on that front. New mucosa color, though! Instead of just blue, I decided to make it fade to a black, at least in the mouth. #art #wip #dragon #furry #furryart

I'm picking away at this and haven't really organized it yet, but currently it looks like Kit has the most ridiculous tongue in the top-down view of her head bc of where I threw down the tail for now. xD #art #wip #dragon #anthro #furry #furryart

Still working at Kit's updated look... I need to sync up the neck markings on that other headshot, I keep tweaking the fine points of how they terminate at the clavicles. I also may still mess with the stripes on the limbs some. We'll see! #art #dragon #anthro #furry #furryart

Okaay... I GUESS Vale can have a lil update too. He's a WIP as well, mostly staying the same but right now I'm for sure changing the speckling on top of his darker markings into blobby stripes. #art #dragon #furry #furryart #anthro

Husband got sick and took me down with him last week, and I took a couple days to get over it. Seemed to work, I was able to go back to work. Today a second wave hit me and I feel WORSE than I did last week. I even took a COVID test I was so suspicious (I'm vaxxed + it was negative) I'm so mad.

In working on that other piece of Castor, I wound up drawing a few things that I decided to just add to his regular reference sheet. How could I have forgotten to have a hand and foot ref on the sheet? Plus a simplified lil back view. #art #furry #furryart #anthro #dragon #drake #veildrake

A reference sheet of a slender "black" and white drake. He has various blue scars all over his body. He has pale feathery hair and long, triangular ears.

Look at this beautiful commission I got from BlueKiwi101 (FA) of my boy Castor! He came out looking amazing, I was so lucky to be able to nab a slot when I did, and that I had extra funds to do it. Every other time the stars had not aligned. #furry #furryart #anthro #dragon #drake #veildrake
