The common moorhen leads a secretive lifestyle—despite its widespread distribution, this bird can be difficult to spot in the wild. However, in densely populated areas of Europe, the birds often become accustomed to human presence.

I genuinely believe we were supposed to live with/in the trees. I'm sad we don't.

Your rough draft is someone else's inspiration. Your "not good enough" project might spark an idea in another creator. Sharing imperfect work moves the whole community forward. Perfection is the enemy of progress.

You know those live wildlife cameras we've got? Well, they've captured footage of something we didn't expect to see... A rare black-crowned night heron – a scarce visitor to the UK – so rare in the UK its distribution can’t be mapped. And we spotted it on our beaver cam.

If someone tells you that it’s “too early” to be talking about autumn, they’re failing to understand a simple truth: Autumn is not a time of year, but rather a state of mind 🎃🍁🍂

Nature is essential to our future, but without stronger protections and greater ambition for nature's recovery, we risk losing the wildlife and landscapes that make our country special. Lend your voice to nature today and help show Parliament it must be a priority: buff.ly/TiUV4eA

Due to Nigella Lawson's entertaining skeets, I shall be following her commentary during the next England match.

This is the first guitar I ever owned. It unfortunately got broken, but I found another and got it back in my life after around 20 years. I have missed it. Plays so beautifully.
