That sounds like a productive round. I actually like when line edits reveal a few side-plot adjustments that need attention too. Sometimes tightening the prose makes those cohesion issues much easier to spot. Are the side plots getting trimmed, expanded, or mostly being rearranged?

I love that you're still open to reshaping character arcs while polishing the prose because those bigger emotional changes can completely change how later scenes land. Do you usually have someone read along during revisions, or do you prefer to wait until you have a more finished draft?
