i walk on stage and showcase a piece of paper that fits in your pocket and can be stuck to anything to become everything. This account is a demonstration of that paper being bluesky and that pocket being myspace, so this is myspace, like MaaPoaBaaCMSaaSxR

Yeah, I’ve distro hopped a bunch and the only time I’ve done Fedora is the asahi install My daily driver is arch on i5 It is so nice having basically native steam and just clean updates without unnecessarily forking maintenance for lts— is my hypothesis why I like arch based more than Debian etc

Before you do— asahi is pretty good if you wanted to dual boot Linux on the Mac. The M-series essentially unlocked chip pathway compatibility so graphics are actually really good, which was the primary contributions asahi made to open compatibility on Mac hardware curl alx.sh | sh

My latest take on why Silly: Silly is like Jolly. I can even toss, twirl, and catch Silly as a physical product on stage too, just like Mark. But Jolly is written in React by Mark’s team And Silly is written in Silly by me and I’m Silly And the sentence above is why I’m censured in tech.

It was also the people for me Honestly? My tech career was just watching high school slowly come back For a few brief years as a “hacker archetype” I was able to move pretty seamlessly from project to project. But as they needed to pigeon hole us into roles, it just feels like jocks took over.

Thanks for sharing. We should normalize sharing lived realities of code expectations. My work is bucketed into like 10 lines: useful trick 100 lines: proven utility 1000 lines: mini app 3000 lines: product Anything more is really just “hill climbing” a product. Huge shoutout to modern platforms

what if the quicksand didn't go away, it just transferred its operations entirely online, and now your parents and half the people you went to highschool with have fallen in because you didn't think quicksand was a big deal anymore, huh? checkmate, millennials

This is tongue in cheek, I don’t really want this, but I do like the idea as a lever to surface what lies beneath the surface since it’s transparency where there is none

I think about this a lot and I’m coming towards this concept I’m calling “Open Censorship” All these tech companies have the systems in place to censor at the whims of a government for their populations. What does it look like to have a corporation respect my personal censorship requests?

I’ve done it so many times to show other people how bad they taste that I’m getting sympathy recalls after reading this
