Saw some quince at the farmers market and I figured why not. Made this fritter cake and mixed them with some granny smth apples. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend as a nice replacement for your fall bakes that call for apples!

Mission is not a short persons friend which makes me so sad. If I want any chance to actually see anything other than peoples butts and armpits I have to get there two hours before show time. Personal problem. But my reality unfortunately. This is why arenas are my preference.

I always felt like 1st bank failed because it never had a committed thing (like minor league hockey) to ensure it would be filled for something often. This is why I feel like Blue Arena could be amazing. Already have success with the CO Eagles.

I heard this. But still not big enough. We need something to fill the to 5-7,000. capacity void. If I am correct 1st Bank could hold about 6,000.

This is why the loss of 1st Bank Center in Broomfield sucks so bad (even though it was not great). There is no mid size indoor arena available in Denver/Boulder metro anymore. Selfishly I am sorta hoping Blue Arena at the Ranch starts to hold more shows. But that seems unlikely. Maybe Magness Arena?

It’s cause unlike full size carrots they have no skin on them to keep moisture naturally in the carrot. So they have to out water in there to keep from drying. It is true sometimes small amounts of chlorine are used to rinse the carrots before packaging and that can transfer over.

I imagined that was the case. Again, makes me think. It’s gonna be necessary as rental markets grow as people continue to be shut out of home ownership or choose not to because of the enormous costs days. I have done a thorough ROI of buying with my finance guy recently and we can’t justify it.

I know in Colorado there are non-profits like Colorado Housing Connects that help with mediation of specific tenant-landlord issues. But not so sure who is out there advocating on the policy change side of things? May be time for me to do some research. Note, I am a renter. Have been my whole life.

I ordered some sand filled poster weights from Etsy. Stay away from rice filling as that is water soluble. I know many use the leather ones from Baroque Portfolios.
