So while the action against non-union companies might be called a “strike,” it’s not legally recognised as one. That’s probably why it’s referred to as a 'work refusal' instead of a formal strike. So, it’s crucial to have access to the actual agreement first. To justify the strike.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but to my understanding, contracts should be clearly and honestly presented before a working relationship begins. Changing the terms midway through would typically be considered a breach of contract.

While many voice actors are asking for public support, there’s still an elephant in the room that none of us are allowed to see for ourselves.

It doesn’t have to be a full contract. That said, all of this applies only to union companies. What about non-union companies? There seems to be a lot of hidden agreements or terms beneath the surface that aren’t being openly discussed.

The information on May 23rd is extremely vague. Just an image overview, not a proper contract. It doesn't clarify which companies are involved, what types of media are covered, or the specific terms and requirements agreed upon by both sides etc. It should have way more detail than this.

I genuinely feel out of the loop. What exactly is in the contract? What’s in the internal agreement? I support VA fight for AI protection, but every time I ask a VA, no one answers or gives me direction for a reliable official source. It’s frustrating.

What I don’t understand is why the agreement is kept so secret. If there’s nothing wrong with it, then show it? List all the detailed requirements and limitations. People are more than capable of judging. Right now, it feels like walking in the dark and getting scolded for taking the wrong step.
