Silas @silaslesnick.bsky.social · 15/10/2026"I doubt my son or daughter is that stupid," was the line that made her crack up and suddenly Simpsons was parent approved. 010
Silas @silaslesnick.bsky.social · 15/10/2026This is remarkably similar to my own experience. My parents were very against for years, but my mom heard about George Harrison being in the season opener and wanted to watch. 110
Silas @silaslesnick.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Mixed feelings about some elements of CARRIE, especially in the latter half, but I did largely enjoy it. Bizarrely, it sort of feels like a direct prequel to SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY. 010

Silas @silaslesnick.bsky.social · 07/10/2026It's hard to articulate without sounding overly harsh, but I think that Aaron Sorkin's role in THE SOCIAL NETWORK is, in a meta sense, lightly poking fun at him in the same way the Timberlake casting does the actor. They're both so close to self parody already and need that precise Fincher balance. 010

Silas @silaslesnick.bsky.social · 07/10/2026MISS MEND is a personal favorite. It feels like Superman minus Superman (12 years before ACTION COMICS #1!) Somehow, Lois Lane and a trio of Clark Kents is even better. 110

Silas @silaslesnick.bsky.social · 29/09/2026This is a big, exciting area of film history that I knew *nothing* about two years ago, but one that I have thoroughly enjoyed discovering. There has never been any release quite like this in the history of home entertainment and I'm very proud to be a part of it. 0111
Silas @silaslesnick.bsky.social · 25/09/2026I tried these yesterday. I definitely did not like them, but I was similarly impressed by how bizarre they taste. 011
