Neon Genesis Evangelion (manga) eva but shorter and with animation about on par with the last 2 episodes of the tv series. i went in knowing there were like Changes but there were a lot less than i thought? i mean not bad just Surprising. probably the most economical way to catch up before evercold

the biggest problem ive had today was spending thirty minutes trying to get metroid prime to recognize my wiimote and it's making me realize i've made very little progress in life since the fifth grade

Metroid Fusion im in love with this spookier vibe this one's goin for and i really like the story and Lore Bits it introduces but holy fuck they werent kidding this shit is Linear. cramming all the controls into four buttons makes this one of the most physically uncomfortable games ive played jfc

i really want to like this more than i do ;-;
i get why it took them nineteen years to make a metroid 5
i like how samus is literally turning into a fucking metroid now i didnt know that was a thing thats rad as hell
her taking commands from a computer all game feels pretty lame like isnt she supposed to be a Badass Space Bounty Hunter Lady why is the clanker planning your day for you
i wanna see what the deal with this adam guy is. i now have Expectations for other m. oh god. oh fuck.

Super Metroid 3 months until Evercold and the static plan Exploded so imma see why Metroid's so god damn hungry ive tried getting into this game like eight times over the past twelve years and it just never stuck. maybe my zoomer is talking but damn this game's just a bit too obtuse for my liking

like why is the jumping so wack, with how much of it you have to do to get around i really didn't want to explore any more than absolutely necessary
and why is the wall jump so finncky
and why does the space jump work like that seriously
a lot of little annoyances stack up to make the game just irritating to play most of the time
the game being set on zebes again with a lot of the same bosses takes a lot of the Waow away, its not close enough to feel like a remake but doesnt fully feel like its own thing? ig?
i do like That Atmosphere tho it really feels like everything on this planet is tryna kirk you
rip babby metroid he got hit by a bazooka 😔✊️
where does the yuri start bluesky said there's yuri in metroid where is it reggie

Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail i started playing this the day the unbeatable dlc was supposed to come out while sony was Having Issues and it's Still not out genuinely what is going on over there i liked the first bit, started liking it a lot less when Cowboy USA got involved who woulda thought

living memory pulled me back in tho erenville my poor chud son ;-;-;;-;
i dont like outright Dislike her but wuk lamat is a Persona Character and i mean that negatively
she's nowhere near the worst xiv character tho like be so fr Gaia is still in the video game
i actually like the idea of solving the whole WoL Kills Despair At The End Of The Universe Power Creep thing by having them mentor some like younger protag-y character i just think its neat
the dungeon bosses are actually getting halfway complicated now and it only took them like five expansions im a fan
all the battle content was kinda sick i shant lie
viper is pretty ez but dammm thats fun as fuck
what is going on in this key art like amano u the goat but what were you cooking bro

Spider-Man: Brand New Day yes i still show up for spiderman and deadpool im sorry film bsky i like how depresso peter is in this one i like my spideys feelin like shit a lot of characters are just in there for the trailer but thats marvel for u genuinely liked the bits with mj and ned Quite Sweet

i got worried we were going for Dark Phoenix Round 3 damn that woulda been funny
there's a lot of like real damn good shots mixed in with the regular mcu sterility in this one like u can really Feel someone's got some sort of Vision somewhere in that disney machine
yes i saw he's hitting moves straight from the games in the fight scenes Damn thats sick
the goblin in my brain that used to show up to all these movies was a bit sad he didnt just go to my goat daredevil when his senses were going dicko mode but maybe they kirked him in born again or something i didnt watch it ;-;

ICEY feels like they wanted to go for some crazy combo stylish action thing with all the different moves with different uses but it's entirely wasted on the fact that any enemy with enough health to survive more than four hits can't be stunned/combo'd. feels very shitty, not worth the 3 dollars.

if you somehow manage to down anything harder than the starting little roll-y guys, hitting them just instantly stands them up with a barely telegraphed attack. it's all the joy of getting hit with a wakeup zangief level 3 with no opportunity to punish for big damage
also that narrator holy shit. buddy exclusively has the one bit where he breaks the fourth wall as the lead dev and it starts grating after the second time he does it. doesnt help that the english va sounds like a robot and the chinese one overacts every single line he's given
trying to tie that fourth wall breaking shit in with the literally Nothing plot just feels more pretentious than clever. this is no nier automata, and despite not having played it im assuming it's no stanley parable either.
i tried the final boss once and realized if it still felt like shit this far in, beating the last guy wasn't gonna change my mind. at least it was only two hours.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker they're saying it's the Greatest To Do It Maybe Ever def not as like tightly paced as shb but makes up for it with sick fights and copious amounts of Aura Farming oml last solo instance had me legit hands on head pogging out my motherfuckin gourd holy shit what an ending

currently undecided if close in the distance is my new fav song but it damn well might be
legitimately tho where do we go from here like im excited for dawntrail/evercold/whatever that zero person's deal is but like how do you follow this up

again them artstyle changes were sick as hell this thing rocks

lisa makes me sexist tho what a fucking idiot
then again twelve's also a dipshit at the end there so maybe they cancel each other out
still the good show is good 👍
it goes without saying the yoko kanno soundtrack is goated but sheeeeesh

Fullmetal Alchemist (reread) i havent interacted with anything fma in years and remembered very little going in. i think i liked it more this time around? starts out really strong but kinda loses steam by the end tbqh. lots of sick side characters who orbit two Whatever ass protags.

why did they spend so much time bummin around with those chimera dudes in the second half does anyone care about them like at all
idgaf about brotherhood but i do kinda wanna watch 2003 now to see what changed

malViolence genuinely don't remember how this ended up on my hard drive. maybe it spontaneously generated from enough games rubbing together in my indie folder like how cheese production generates whey. good puzzler that makes my brain hurt but like in a fun way. oh how the skrunkly suffers

the evidence board puzzle made me wanna rip my fingernails off (positive)
