My take on Elon Musk asking federal workers what they did last week as a 19-yr state govt employee: Fed & state agencies are top down, hierarchical systems. Prob 99% of people are doing (or NOT doing) what they've been told to do / what law specifies they do. These aren't startup tech firms, FFS

Spent last weekend in Quebec City for a hockey tournament and Carnival. I used the French I learned specifically for the trip many times: "Je suis Américain, mais je n'ai pas voté pour Trump, il est fou. Le Canada est notre ami!"

I had never baked anything from scratch until Covid, now I make cakes. This is my first Divorce Party cake & my first go with making & using fondant. It's a strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting per the request of my friend whose party is tonight. I might redo broken marriage contract...

This is my first post after joining last night during one of my 2 am is a great time to scroll social media episodes. Meet Georgie and Cleo. Georgie is 100 lbs, 1/2 Golden, 1/4 Newfie, 1/4 Aussie. Cleo is small enough to fit in my kayak and a mystery breed(s). They're good girls but clog my vacuum
