i collected vinyl records for years before I actually got a record player. and even now that I have one, it's not my main or even particularly frequent method of listening to music (though I want to change that haa). so like, truly pointless to have, but I love having them.

I know for me I just hate plastic so much, I hate how it looks and how it feels, &i like nicer packaging. I just spent 1.5 hrs last night looking for an empty makeup pot palette that was metal instead of plastic and also looked nice, and gave up. Just sorta…want nicer materials for the things I love

Maybe because it’s a collectors thing but also I’m sure package quality has something to do with it. Typical disks come in cheap plastic, there’s something very special about metal packaging since you just don’t see it much and it’s expensive to make

That’s the most terrifying thing for me, changing how I live— I’m so, so bad at habit making because of my adhd, and it just feels so overwhelming. I’m tweaking my diet, but major strain for me is stress, I am just killing myself with bad work habits.
