You don’t need to inflict pain on yourself or other creators. Just be thoughtful about what you can do, make conscious decisions, tell others. Purity isn’t necessary. And often not possible.

Thoughts on boycotts: inflict pain on the corporation. Buying a couple 99 cent ebooks from a self-published author on Amazon is fine. Don’t buy a microwave on it. Purity is never the answer. Restraint though and thoughtfulness is.
