...maybe when the sleep deprivation isn't as strong. Self care first, after all. I do need to write more chapters though.

If you get a lot of money, make sure to try and snag a Steel Battalion controller.

People keep saying "Violence isn't the answer." No, but it's AN answer. It's option D in a multiple choice. It only becomes THE answer when the others don't solve the problem.

Didn't some people quit after fighting Riku on Destiny Island? The optional fight?

Think I got the next chapter planned enough. My biggest problem is how in the weeds I wanted to get with technical stuff and then I remembered: The chapter is from the technical persons pov. The answer is very.

I'm doing Welcome to Elderfield and Graveyard Keeper 2 to stay in theme. I also have RE4 ready to go in case I desire zombie blood.

Skyrim is basically the white bread of open world gaming at this point. It's a staple, but there are likely better options you could grab for similar cost.

What's that Diablo 4? I'm rubberbanding despite playing solo? Always online you say? I'm getting the plat and fucking off this game. I'm having fun, but there are games of similar or better quality that don't do this nonsense. Fuck always online.

ESRB is there for a reason, even if it is lip service. If you're a parent who objects to kids playing those games DONT BUY THE GAMES FOR THE KIDS! BE A PARENT! This among all gaming issues is one of my buttons to instantly get irritated.

...it's a fucking M rated (in some places higher) game. Children shouldn't be playing it in the first place.

I was taught to double space at the end in school and still do it pretty regularly. It's a non harmful habit, so I haven't bothered trying to change it, but I certainly wouldn't teach it to anyone.

I am kind of sad I didn't get the Evershine beta on the kickstarter, but I'm also fine with it because I almost burned out on Sandrock when it was in beta.

If there's a hardest difficulty, let me pick it at the start. Let my own hubris be my downfall. Let me soar high in glory, or be like Icarus and crash into the sea.

It could be an inability to recognize abstract shapes as anything other than shapes. Kind of like some people can stare at woodgrain and see faces or other things, but the opposite?

Sidra Letitia @sidraletitia.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I disagree, but understand the opinion. I think it's a tool writers use to trick people who would otherwise not engage with their work into listening to their opinions and arguments.

As someone olders than the NES, I will say some games are bad and outdated. But it's stuff like Duke Nukem being a product of its time and old PC games working inside limited systems.

...could I mimic the style of Sun Tsu enough to make a satire book on morality, speaking about it in terns familiar to people in power like he did for nobility about military strategy? Could be a fun experiment.

Authors are one of the more sadistic kind of white court vampire. They take great pleasure at messing with readers, such as killing fan favorite characters in their books or making 7 different endings to their book and saying there are 8. Their feeding is ultimately harmless, but can feel awful.

010

Sidra Letitia @sidraletitia.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

They're bad too. If you feel strongly about it, spread news about those too.

You don't make a lot of money writing unless you get a runaway hit. Even then, it's not sustainable until you get some more fame.
