I gotta know how WoW's new Abundance event got through DevOps because it is absolutely insane the amount of operations that are running in every frame of that ADHD nightmare. No wonder the entire area lags when it's running! Look at this! I want to talk about this new event 🧵

It's inside a cave, there are a ton of players there killing random enemies and grabbing an absolute metric FUCK TON of tiny little orbs on the ground.
The place is entirely covered in it, thus the "Abundance" name.
In addition to that, a chatterbox appears at the top with a character saying "Your deeds glorify me. You shall be benevolently rewarded in abundant kind!" (this happens every second, sometimes they overlap)

There's a counter at the top for Public Altar Contribution and that number fluctuates WILDLY while players dump the orbs in a central bucket area
There's also a personal counter on the right side for your abundance bag.
The player has around 3 minutes to fill up their bags and dump it in the bucket, ad nauseum
