Imagine the headlines if she'd recorded it *after* her death.

It may 'only' have been 93% here in Cardiff but the eclipse was still impressive. The change in the quality of the light was amazing and yet equally amazing how light it still was given how much of the sun was covered. 1 18:14 pre-contact 2 18:52 3 19:13 4 19:27 with a wisp of cloud

Reform have taken out a three page advert in the Powys County Times ahead of the Welsh election. In a 478 word letter from Nigel Farage that is included, he doesn't mention "Wales" once.

The Welsh name for Greenland is Yr Ynys Las. There’s also a village in Wales called Ynyslas, near Aberystwyth. The people of Ceredigion clearly have a very good sense of humour! Trump is one of the worst humans ever to hold power. Vile. Solidarity with the people of Greenland from Wales. ✊ 🇬🇱❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The 100% full moon at 18:50 from Cardiff - a mere 221864 miles or 357057km from earth (it was actually a few miles closer back in October)
The full moon disc, I've tweaked the saturation and contrast settings to enhance the colours of the different materials covering the surface, they're normally to subtle and washed out to see just looking at it.

The bluer colours are titanium rich basalts, browner colours are iron rich lavas. White areas are where the surface has been covered by dust and debris from numerous asteroid strikes

@rickedwards1.bsky.social Ha, this morning's reference to a berk has helped me complete a crossword clue I was stuck on. Thank you! 😆

The young Sand Martins were being fed by their parents this morning, though I think they're being rather lazy as I saw them flying a bit later so should be able to start looking after themselves #birdingWales

One of 3 Otters seen on the River Ely near Grangemoor Park this morning, managed a couple of shots before it saw me and dived. Later the 3 were playing around in the middle of the river #mammals
