Update is still many months away while I whittle at a side project which will be relevant for Starpounds. But figured it'd be good to bring up what's on the mind for what kinda major updates we wanna tackle. And hopefully get quicker, smaller updates after this major one.

I’ve been playing starbound (with the starpounds/bug fatfatties mod) again and I’ve made two characters that I’ve been slowly writing for they share a ship (it’s Amons) and it’s just a space wizard and a space pirate forced to endure eachother

Amon a arcanian who knows how to harness the magic of dark stars and black holes and sadly has to put up with scarlets behavior

Scarlet Belle a Throg pirate who is known for making entire ship crews get added to her waistline the only person who’s avoided this so far is Amon but she is able to annoy him so she can live with that

big bloated girl thighs with a bonus writing exercise

imagine you go grab a cake at a local pastry shop and the server there is absolutely massive. her head's barely touching the ceiling, thighs and belly rubbing constantly as she moves. her blatantly engorged form threatens to give out as with each step she takes brings loud groaning and creaking noises. she's wearing a cutesy pink outfit that's so unbelievably tight that it's practically see-through. she's happily blissful of her current blimp-like state as she waddles up to greet you, knocking over tables, chairs, and even oblivious guests in her wake until she eventually stops directly in front of you and all you can see and smell is hot, melting strawberry chocolate. the creaking and sloshing quiets down to make room for her to peppily yap inbetween heaves and huffs, "welcome to sweet peace! how can i help you?"

One thing I miss from beta was that Apex were even more crazy with their dna altering tech. Stuff like the Agarans and the cut Colourful are also a result of their rampant misuse of genetic alteration. But since 1.0 it's kind of just been a forgotten aspect of them.

And you may already be aware of this one. But the Apex weren't even originally apes. They were basically genetically modified in attempt to make the race both physically and mentally stronger while usurping the former government and basically erasing all history before this event.

These modified Avians, Kluex being among them, would find and intermingle with the non modified ancestors. Creating the modern day Avians seen in Starbound. With another beta book, taken with a grain of salt given their religion, stating that Penguins are also just a sub species of Avians.

Here's an often forgotten about piece of beta lore. There's this sort of mini document titled the Abridged History of the Avians. Skimming over the origins of the Avians and minor politics as they advanced and became a space faring civilization and made first contact with others.

I did end up adjusting the recommended mods list with two new workshop collections you can just sub to all. Since I did notice a lot of people just wanting that rather than looking at each mod. Both with and without the starburst overhaul mod.
