I don’t hate the two part Boston-style valves because that style of flap actually make mouth inflation easier. Or the larger “normal” valves. But the small ones are an awful hassle for fittings (if you want to puff in a suit or hood).

I swear I have gotten the same toy from the same manufacturer and it's come with different sized valves.

I wish these companies that make pool toys/inflatables/etc. would just pick a valve standard and stick with it so I didn't need to keep (practically) a whole toolbox full of adapters.

I still think having words on the walls telling you what each room is for (like instructions) is a sound and sensible decor choice.
