WA neighbors: you voted, right? My ballot wants to cuddle up and be counted along with yours.

Uzback-style Jiyak band weaving was the class I got to take yesterday. It was GRAND! It is a variant of tablet weaving, but breaks a lot rules. Possibly all of the rules. I'm continuing at home with a backstrap set-up.

Uzbek-style Jiyak weaving. A warped-up band loom, a deck of cards serving as tablets, eight sticks and a few inches.

What the WHOLE class made. Seven bands, each with its deck of cards still connected. The patterns start with Xs and Os and then continue wildly.
Mine is fourth from the right.

I am here for conversation with humans. Seriously, if I wanted random-number generators to amuse me, I’d scry my entirely non-metaphorical crystal ball.

Oh, Sam, oh kitty, oh Sam! Why, why are you scooping water from the little bowl you like to drink from, on my desk, and spraying it all over the wooden desk-thingies? Why did you ask for water with your clear, enormous eyes? Why did I provide it, knowing full well your waterplay proclivities?
