So the new carousel for pictures isn't....great, imo. It literally just slides the pictures over the rest of the UI without much indication of how many pictures there are, doesn't feel too good to control to me either. Some plushie pics to test with (4 pics). Preferred seeing them all and zooming in

#TheBigCatch is pretty cool, even the prologue demo is 7 hours of playtime to 100% at least. A ton of style in the movement and lots of care put into the level design; it even lets you do some sauce with physics if you like to go fast! Don't look too closely if you want to view the top for yourself.

okay so i took the grid other people were doing and took hours to do it and split it cause i wrote a novel in the alt text for my picks(sorry) (bonus alt text) Wandersong is a game everyone should play cause it's a beautiful story with wonderful humor and the difficulty is super accessible!

Favorite game: Gravity Rush(PS Vita, with the back touch screen controls, v cool.)
Best story: Wandersong(Made me cry)
Favorite art style: Odin Sphere(also Dragon's Crown is similar, sticks in my head all the time)
Biggest personal impact: Gravity Rush(while many games have an impact on me, Gravity Rush got me "back into games" so to speak, during a time I was really frustrated with life)
Best Combat: Hi-fi Rush(I love the rhythmic combat, combined with devil may cry spectacle fighting it's so good)
Overhated: Crisis Core FF7(I mean the PSP one, not the remake!)
Underrated: Lunacid(A great game with a great style, a lot of mystery and whimsy, allows very creative gameplay. It's very positive on steam but I think it should be overwhelmingly positive!)
Overrated: Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor(May have genuinely been the first(and only) game in my life that I just hard rage quit; Alt-f4 uninstalled. Trying to do my own thing and taking hits/dying purely because the game is so obsessed with its own mechanics that it has to interrupt gameplay every 2 seconds to let a random orc introduce itself via unskippable cutscene)
Needs a Remake: Paper Mario 64(I daresay this game deserved a remake before TTYD, though I love TTYD too! And especially loved the small changes they made in that remake. Thankfully you can play 64 on the online subscription still)
Criminally Overlooked: Demon Turf(Both Demon Turf and Demon Tides each have under 1000 reviews each, and are great platformers! The devs also made Bubsy 4D if you were interested)

Favorite Protagonist: Crisis Core FF7(Zack is too cool for his own good, literally)
Favorite Antagonist: A Hat in Time(Admittedly this one's a bit odd, its more a collection of antagonists that are eventually your friends, I love them all the same though)
Best Soundtrack: Celeste(Just a good ass soundtrack in a good ass game that I love dearly)
Best Multiplayer: Team Fortress 2(I don't play a ton of multiplayer games, but TF2 will probably be the one I could come back to at any time in my whole life)
Not usually my thing, but...: Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun(I like a lot of genres in games, almost all of them. The only one I almost never vibe with are RTS. Shadow Tactics however took the RTS skillset of unit coordination with unique skills and made a stealth game that I very much enjoyed for the first time in the genre)
Turn my Brain Off: Old School Runescape(My first mmo when I was really young, before I even played PSO1 on my xbox. I currently I'm trying to max for the first time and am getting ever closer. I don't know how much I'll continue after that but it is definitely one of my favorites to grind numbers in)
Best with Friends: Deep Rock Galactic(Not going to lie, a lot can go in these next few slots, starting with this one. Deep Rock however kind of combines a little bit of everything from the fun bin for friends, and overall I do think it is one of the best at it)
Best Retro Game: Shovel Knight(This might be a bit of a cop-out because it's more modern retro, but it's also a 12 year old game at this point! It does really well at capturing the aesthetic and gameplay mechanics of the time while removing the clunkiness of the first games. A classic for sure.)
Nostalgic Childhood Game: Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood(okay I could've put a lot here and some other games might be more nostalgic for me but hear me out, it was really cool. ALSO NOONE REMEMBERS BUT EGGMAN WINS AFTER THE CREDITS AND THE GAME DIDNT GET A SEQUEL WHAT THE HELL)

When I stream (rarer than I wish) I like to make custom art for my overlay based on the game. This tends to be just a long rectangle at the bottom; sometimes with a character I put by the chatbox. Sometimes I do them live, sometimes I progress them as I get through a play of a longer game. #pixelart

From the top in order these are based on: Freedom Planet 2, Hollow Knight, Penny's Big Breakaway, and Cult of the Lamb.

i made parmesan-crusted chicken with a lemon butter sauce this is the first time i've just cooked up something from scratch without a meal-kit service and it came out so good (if you're wondering where a side dish is i couldnt find the rice cooker but i found it after for the leftovers tomorrow)

This might legitimately be the first thing I ever drew at like 13 years old, I had this over-the-top handaxe that I sketched from reference on a sketchpad, scanned the sketch and then drew over it in a probably-pirated version of photoshop. You can see the back blade at the bottom sort of get warped because I drew to the edge of the page and just wanted it to barely fit in. I also didn't know anything about keeping line thickness consistent at this time.
