The image showcases NGC 602, a star cluster located in the Small Magellanic Cloud. The image, captured by the NIRCam instrument on the James Webb Space Telescope, reveals a captivating cosmic scene. The star cluster is surrounded by a vibrant nebula, filled with gas and dust that are illuminated by the intense light from the young, massive stars within the cluster. The intricate details of the nebula, including its filamentary structures and swirling patterns, are brought to life in stunning clarity.
