I understand the constraints you’re operating under. That said, if the process requires candidates to anchor compensation without any role-specific guidance beyond the public posting, then this likely isn’t a good fit for me.

At my level, deciding whether to engage in a multi-stage interview process depends on having at least some directional alignment up front. Without that, I don’t think we’d be setting either side up for a productive outcome.

I appreciate you reaching out, and I wish you the best with the search.

Update: ETR is tomorrow morning. Manual trenching operations are underway. I’ve committed an unspeakable act: plugged the travel router into my home router instead of the ONT. Good thing my Google Fi billing cycle resets in 2 days. (And no, I’m not accepting cable critique...)
