The “I’ve accepted that I’m not ever returning to the classroom” purge is officially underway 💜

In other, more exciting news: our first herbs are sprouting 🥰

I absolutely love how I feel after a yoga class. Next to dance, it is my favorite form of movement. But the fact that rooms full of mostly white people are still ending class with “namaste” is wildly unacceptable. I so wish there were more non-culturally-appropriated, in-person options near me 😔

This is absolutely terrifying and inhumane. We should all be shouting from the rooftops, donating, calling legislatures, checking on folks we are in community with… whatever we have the means to do. This cannot happen in silence.

Hey gang, sometimes we make mistakes and in this case it was a typo. Sign ups end 1/9 and 1/16, respectfully.

The idea of losing my SNAP benefits come November 1st is incredibly nerve-wracking, and this is from someone receiving them who has so much privilege. I have support networks who will help ensure I don’t go hungry. I don’t have children’s mouths to feed. Fascists maintain power through fear.

Starting the day off right after helping the niblings off to school: meditation, yummy breakfast, and getting the planner in order. Happy Monday all 💜

Hey everyone - my sister and I are participating in the Jimmy Fund Walk this year. It’s been 10 years since we lost our mom, and we want to commemorate when she completed the walk! We are sharing the fundraising link in case you’re able to support 💙 Thanks! danafarber.jimmyfund.org/goto/missdor...

Just had my first professional tarot reading and WOW: so many affirmations that this journey is the right one! It’s going to take time, patience, and communication, but the spirits are walking with me. And a beautiful reminder that holding space for youth is still integral to my next steps 💜

Had a blast playing Definitely Wizards for the first time tonight. I chose the Magician trope and reveled in the chaos as “The Great and Powerful Zaadini”🪄🐇🎩 Highly recommend!

I’d love to pick people’s brains who do freelance or project-based work: what system do you have to effectively keep track of your hours worked? Spreadsheet templates you’d be willing to share? Maybe a preferred tracking app? Appreciate any insights 🙏

Feeling guilt over relaxing instead of being productive is the definition of capitalism at work on our bodies. Deprogramming is HARD and so important! Currently working on this during “fun employment” lol and it’s wayyy harder than it should be 🙃
