In the most recent deadlock update, they showed us 6 new characters, and had players vote for which character would come out next. 5 of the 6 characters have come out as of today. Guess which character I've been voting for.

I half assume this is not possible, but: an extra section in the book, such as character bios, full reference sheets, or some other small addendum section; i don't know whats in there exactly, but I'm curious if there's anything fun y'all wanted to put in that you could do with the extra funding

One for my fellow discord mods having to deal with "art" bots. Y'know how you can always just kinda tell when something is off with how these bots talk about things? Just something about certain words they use, no matter how normal they may otherwise seem...

Three discord messages from "art" bots are listed on the left:
"Finished this commission for a wonderful client! Loved bringing their vision to life" (The word "client" is written in blue.)
"New commission 💙 Moon, antlers, skull mask & blue arcane fire. Grateful for this dark fantasy project!" (The word "project" is written in blue.)
"Here's a new piece I recently finished! Really happy with how this one turned out. Would love to hear what you guys think!" (The word "piece" is written in blue.)
On the right is an image of the cover of "House of Leaves" by Mark Z. Danielewski. The word "House" is written in blue.

If you're trying to empty all the liquid from a bottle, spinning it in a circle (not rotating it, physically moving it around the edge of an imaginary circle) will cause a whirlpool to appear and it will drain much faster

God, I just wish i could use the zipline to run away and break LOS without travelling 3 city blocks (or not being able to retreat with the zipline at all in blue, christ that lane is now an open boulevard the whole way down)

It's... better than the old map. I think. I remember feeling lost and confused the first time i played deadlock. Hopefully a little readjustment time will quell my worries.

ShrivelingFire @shrivelingfire.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

It's both far too open and extremely cluttered. It's much harder to disengage or escape. It's much easier to be ambushed. It's way easier for experienced players to farm massive advantages while barely being in lane. the lack of any mirroring across the middle doubles the challenge of learning it.

I feel so conflicted about the new #deadlock map. It's an artistic masterpiece. It feels like a proper metropolis. Every inch of the map oozes with character. The level design intent is clear. I can tell where they opened up areas for team fights, where they shrunk areas for ambushes.

Bringing an old DnD character out of retirement for quality reasons. #myart | #alison | #artyom | #dnd

A comic that starts with a DnD party breaking down the door of a villain. Said villain is a fishman dressed in a fancy attire. It’s a close up of him looking off to the sides at the party. Party includes shortstack dwarf mage, Alison; a drow-esque fighter named Artyom; and two more nebulous characters.

Panel one
Alison: “Your evil machinations here here, Chancellor Killgill! And for your wicked ways, it’s time to turn your birthdays —“

Panel two
Highlights Alison n artyom in battle poses
Alison: “—off!”

Panel three
Artyom looks confused.

Panel four
Artyom turns to Alison, lowering his sword/
Artyom: “what?”
Chancellor Killgill shouted off screen “Prepare to die, heroes!!”
