Does anyone know a good template for pre-registering a systematic review and a meta-analysis? I have used the OSF template in the past and everyone is afraid of my pre-registrations now (Hint: it is 20ish pages)!

Excited to share this study, which my friend contributed to during his master’s work with ruffs. It presents a comprehensive ethogram for chicks and age-related behavioural changes. He is now looking for PhD positions to continue his work with birds. If you have any leads, please reach out to him!

My job market talk coming out of grad school was about gender differences in STEM. Gelertner's explanation for observed differences served as a foil for the rest of my lecture.

New Pre-print Alert ‼️ Fascinated by bird nests? Me too!! Some birds add fresh green plants to their nests, even after laying eggs! 🌿 Could this behaviour have benefits? Check out our meta-analysis on @ecoevorxiv.bsky.social here: doi.org/10.32942/X2X... Why do birds use green nest material?

It was an amazing experience talking about all that makes me excited. Heart-warming feedback from the participants and my favourite is "Now I know what a meta-analysis is and everything it is not!" and it summarises what I wanted to achieve in 4.5 hours of this workshop! #Behaviour2025
