Knowing my luck, they'll probably release it as a Steam Machine exclusive or something, and it'll be forever stuck on that console.

So Top Hat Gaming is covering AI videogames now. Yeeeeah, I changed my mind, I don't ever want to be featured there. My 2 year development game doesn't want to breathe the same air as a 5 day AI slop.

"I'm so mad at myself for not playing sooner" I've said the exact same sentence in the past regarding this game. 😅 And I had it in the Sega Smash Pack 2, so I had no excuse.

Why don't you start with other game engines in the meantime? That'll help you dip your toes in stuff like artstyle, sound design, storytelling, game mechanic ideas. Then you'll have an edge when you get to university. But nothing wrong with doing comics either, that helps with at least 2 of 'em.

Without a shadow of a doubt. It was StarTropics. It was the coolest thing ever, and it still holds that title today. It was a harsh blow to realise as a teen that it was nowhere near as popular as I thought. I used to take a red yoyo with me EVERYWHERE. It had that much of an impact on me.

Oh! Ok then that whole "Sonic Superstars is the last game in the classic timeline" was just scare tactic BS? I'm glad! But you know what that means? There's DEFINITELY talk about Sonic Mania 2, when both parties basically admitted they'd be willing to collab again! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

MMPR for me in 1993. TBH, the hype lasted for a year. Then all of my classmates were crazy hyped for the movie, and it rubbed off on me, and kept being a fan for another year and a half probably. I got into the Marvel animated shows right after. But it was crazy fun while it lasted.

Quote this with a gif of your first anime ever. It's always a blur to me which I consider my first. First time I caught a glimpse of anime? First time I started watching regularly? First time I saw a show knowing it was anime? For the first one, I'm gonna say Captain Tsubasa. "SUPERCAMPEONES"

Fox Kids was easily one of the best things from my childhood. A few days ago I dreamt that I went underground and found a Fox Kids "vault". When I opened it, it's as if all the happiness came flooding back into the world. It was THAT special to me.

Yeah. I feel like without the metaphorical leash that Sentai footage provides, modern day western writers will go for either edgy or depressing. Like the movies. 2017? Edgy Once and Always? Depressing. Boom comics, as far as I could read?:both.

My beef with this is, it's not that it can't survive without it. Every Power Ranger movie has survived without sentai (unsure Turbo) It's the push that the suits look like what sci-fi police would use, instead of building off or properly modernizing the spandex what gets me.
