Folks, if you get the chance, do go and watch I swear. It’s about Scottish #TouretteSyndrome campaigner John Davidson. This film is so full of heart and the cast are incredible. I cried pretty much the whole way through but laughed a lot too. My heart feels bigger for seeing it 💙

I’ve just started All the Colours of the Dark and am enjoying it so far.

In grim times I love to rewatch beloved stories for comfort and I’ve rewatched 2007 #Persuasion so many times already this year! The Netflix adaptation with Dakota was utterly shocking. And the Ciaran Hindes one is fine but we need something new so please someone make a new and worthy Persuasion 🙏🏽

My Dad passed away yesterday. I want to honour him by telling people about him. Proud of his service as a British officer in the 7th Gurkha Rifles, he was a snappy dresser who loved a few pints at the pub with friends. And when he smiled he lit up the room with a glint in his eye. We love you Dad 💜

I'm firmly in my grumpy old woman era. Jane Austen remakes that've been remade to death upset me (AHEM give us a DECENT Persuasion & not that Dakota travesty). And Emma Thompson's Sense & Sensibility was perfection (the honking crying? 😭) But I WILL be seated for Caitriona & Daisy supremacy 👏🏽👸🏽

I finished The Favourites on audiobook while in Nepal. It’s supposedly inspired by Wuthering Heights but set in the figure skating world. I needed something light & easy to follow and this did the trick. Reckon you’d love it if you like Taylor Jenkins Reid. Anyone else read it? #BookSky💙📚 #Audiobook
