Gunna make a slightly crazy prediction but... I bet when GTA VI adds the online mode, they are gunna include it as a $20+ paid DLC that console players will have to buy. That way they can justify keeping the $80 price tag for the PC release by already including it in the PC version.

Everything feels so f’d right now. -Economy -Job Market -US Government -Culture War BS -Billionaire getting away with everything -And how being a PoS in this day and age seems to be the better choice than being a decent human being Like jfc… I just wana play videogames and be with my dogs…

I truly believe that this is it, this is the breaking point. If trump goes through with this attack tonight, and we don’t impeach him, America has reached, “Yea… we’re just as bad as the Nazis” level of bad.

Shotdown ⧓ @shotdown007.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

Is there a job in the videogame industry for those that have the ability to tell the company that, "Hey... this game you got here, in its current state and based on my analysis... yea, its shit and will die in 1-3 months", cus damn I would slap at a job like that. Hire me, ill save you millions lol.

Ya know, if humanity is wiped out, it's probably going to be because AI killed us all while we we're all distracted dealing with the worst US president in human history who couldnt give less than a s**t about AI killing us all since hes already on the way out anyway. Fun times we're in.

I'm nearly certain now Trump will TRY to call off the mid-terms, and if they even attempt to do that, we are f**ked. America is f**ed. Can we please get a #ItsTimeToRevolt or some nation-wide movement going like NOW? Cus im ready to revolt.

When you check Hasan's livestream and then see Asmongold's stream, it perfectly sums up the dual reality we are living in and its so f'ing sad. Just two different worlds at this point. Feels like we can't even agree to disagree anymore. Just hate for hates sake. And seeing the other as the enemy.

Man, what a Game Award show that was. I loved it but man I also feel so conflicted because while E33 deserved everything it got, games like Dispatch, Peak, and hell, even Sonic Racing: Crosswords and more should have won something too. A brutal year this year, but for all the right reasons, through.

Im sorry but this is such a lame cop-out. If this is true, why let the govement shut down at all knowing Ds always give in? Why let it go on for 40 days and have NOTHING to show for it? WHAT WAS THE POINT TO BEGIN WITH THEN?

Am I crazy? A funding bill might get passed tonight that would fund gov till Jan 31, fund SNAP & Vet affairs till then, and allow a separate vote on ACA subsidiaries. 1. Theres already emerg. funds for SNAP, so this means nothing 2. Just a vote, w/ NO guarantee? WTF??? This deal is absolute shit.

Yo Twitch, TwitchCon, and Dan Clancy, Yall in need of a new event manager to plan your M&Gs? Cus your setup is NOT ok. Security, format, communication, every part of its execution failed. Heck, i'd give you some pointers FOR FREE that would cost you NOTHING that would help improve M&Gs SOOO much.

I swear, every time I go to Twitch Con it really makes me want to get back into streaming again, even if it is just for a while… again. I do really love everything about it (streaming) and Twitch Con helps to remind me that.

I'm so fucking done man. All of these people spending DAYS flaming Hasan is WILD. Animal abuse is absoluety NOT ok. But how about you put a fraction of that effort towards also giving a crap about YOUR country. Everything in the US is on fire becuase of the orange turd, but naw, F Hasan, right?

010

Shotdown ⧓ @shotdown007.bsky.social · 02/10/2025

It feels like we are in that moment right before Order 66 was executed in Star Wars. Trump is about to execute Order 2025 and the birth of the orange empire is about to begin. I say this half jokingly but I also say it believing something really bad is going to happen soon and I’m scared…

What happened to Charlie Kirk is wrong... and yet, I cant help but feel only apathy at his death. I hate this timeline. Just so much anger and hate right now. And its probably going to get even worst now. The saying, "It's going to get worse before it gets better" comes to mind today sadly.

000

Shotdown ⧓ @shotdown007.bsky.social · 02/07/2025

The sudden boost Stop Killing Games has gotten is awesome. Sad that we needed a villain to make it happen, but hey, I'll take it.

000

Shotdown ⧓ @shotdown007.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

So... yea... Just wanted to add my two cents as a nobody on the internet, but also as a lifelong gamer who loves gaming to death. Game development is complicated, but games should also be adequately preserved. Let's figure out a way forward, together. #StopKillingGames

000

Shotdown ⧓ @shotdown007.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

Miscommunications were made, executions were flawed, and hot takes were had, but in the end... We all love video games, and, Games dying is usually a bad thing. Agree to disagree if you must, but let's learn from this experience and work together to make the Stop Killing Games movement a reality.

100

Shotdown ⧓ @shotdown007.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

As for who is to blame, honestly, there's probably at least a little on both sides. Maybe more on one side than the other. However, if we both agree on points 1 and 2, then let's move forward and discuss how the Stop Killing Games movement can be run even better together as we proceed.

100

Shotdown ⧓ @shotdown007.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

However, I honestly think all of this drama came from miscommunication and misunderstanding. I think we can all agree on 1 and 2 being true. But, the real issue (I BELIEVE) lies in how Stop Killing Games was executed and how some initially received/reacted to it.

100

Shotdown ⧓ @shotdown007.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

Let's talk about Stop Killing Games, because it feels like that train has entirely derailed due to unnecessary infighting. Let me list some points I think we can all agree with: 1. The killing of games is generally bad. 2. The idea(s) and the movement behind Stop Killing Games are a good thing.

100

Shotdown ⧓ @shotdown007.bsky.social · 09/06/2025

It'd be crazy if a whole bunch of people RSVP'd for Trump's military parade... and then didn't show up. But that would be crazyyyyyyyyyy. Something I would neverrrrr do!!! NEVER! ... Anyway, I hope you have a great day today. 🙂

000

Shotdown ⧓ @shotdown007.bsky.social · 09/06/2025

All the recent talk of "Crossing the line" or whatever is hilarious to me. As if Trump and each one of his criminal goon circle haven't already crossed the metaphorical line a 1 million times over by now. What a joke. P.S. Hey ICE, please and kindly, get the f**k out of LA.

Side note: I’m all for giving devs the time they need to cook. But like, why do all those hype-up things for just a release date trailer? Y’all got some people really excited thinking it would be something more than just a new countdown lol, myself included. 😭

000

Shotdown ⧓ @shotdown007.bsky.social · 07/06/2025

I’m gunna be a stinky gamer for a moment. The Arc Raiders hype-up leading up to today has been crazy: Countdown timer to June 6th Geoff posting a image of Scrappy And other small hints It left me thinking we would get an open beta, shadow drop, or something. Instead we got a new countdown, bruh.

Even if Bungie/Sony were to flush the C-suite entirely right now (which should have happened years ago), it's probably too late. The executives will fly away in their golden parachutes, while the devs suffer from the exec's actions. It's absolutely disgusting. thegamepost.com/ex-bungie-de...

Can we reach 100 "once in a lifetime historical events" before the 100th day? That would would be crazzzzzzzy right? 🫠 Hey, atleast paying $500 for the Switch 2 + Mario Kart is looking like a possibility again, so yay for that, I guess?

I’ve been stuck at my local Microcenter for 8 HOURS NOW (and counting) getting my computer fixed. They initially said it should be fixed by the afternoon (3-5 hours). Now they are saying it might not get fixed today. It’s an hour and a half drive to and from Microcenter for me btw.

Nintendo Switch 2 preorders have been delayed so Nintendo can evaluate the impacts of the tariffs. Cool, guess I’m not getting the Switch 2 then. Are we winning yet? Cus holy f**k does it feel like we are losing.

No 3D Mario game; instead, we get a 3D DK game. Mario Kart is point-to-point racing but we still get lap-based racing (probably?) via Kirby Air Ride(rs) An exclusive FromSoft game. And a slew of more to come. Like, holy moly, Switch 2 will probably sell out almost immediately.

Hey @schumer.senate.gov, We all know both options are s**t. However, think of it like this. Would you rather be on the side of, "I think you are destroying the gov., so I vote no!" or "I think you are destroying the gov., but what else can I do? I vote yes!" ITS NOT HARD, VOTE NO! TAKE ACTION!
