My best friend had it and somehow we figured out that once the game boots up the system no longer needed the disk and you could remove it. I kept my GC on for basically an entire summer to keep playing animal crossing. 050

Not having played one might work in your favor, because I kept feeling like the new additions were mostly getting in the way but others like the dandori battles and challenges were great additions. 010
