Hell yeah! Recently found that Scruff allows users to turn OFF the moments things. So tired of seeing those Reel/Story like circles up top, often with uninvited penises. Uninvited penises is part of why I use Bluesky! 😄 They made it tricky - toggle those ON to turn them off!

Drove 3 hours to help mom yesterday, while she's in care, only for her to have changed her mind on what we agreed to do. Kinda justifiably mad, but she's mom. 🥺 I did enjoy the 6 hour round trip yesterday, even on a highway where the biggest features are farms, in moderate rain. But still. 😒

6 hour round trip to help mom tomorrow. She's been having a tough time. 🥺 Not an entirely bad thing! • It's a road trip ❤️ • It's visiting mom ❤️ • It's helping her out ❤️ A favorite coping mechanism against stress is finding even the smallest good, in bad things. It helps me a lot!

I do have empathy for the terminally ill, but I remember that Poker Face episode with Judith Light, where her character was wheelchair bound, and could still do some pretty bad things. That is fiction of course, but sometimes life is stranger than that.
