A thing that has happened to men in the podcast era is not only the manosphere but also the loss of good, long form sports writing. One of the most interesting labor situations in U.S. history is happening in collegiate athletics and the best writers are doing hot takes instead of in depth thinking.

Pounder often donates her personal art collection to museums. Many of the Panthers. are still living. We still have prolific painters and other artists that receive recognition in their field but I’d love more exposure en masse. And Just Like That did that well through Nicole Ari Parkers character.

As we’re closing Black History Month I continue to think about how can we honor folks before they are gone. As far as I’m aware, Civil Rights Movement icon Elizabeth Eckford is still with us. Lonnette McKie and CCH Pounder could use some recognition in the arts.

Listening to an education hearing where our Big Boss is providing a statement. I appreciate that she always includes the staff. Students, faculty and STAFF. Second she’s actually talking about maintenance. Campus maintenance isn’t sexy it’s something leaders often avoid.

If you’re seeing horrible flooding on Eastern campuses today this is reality of deferred maintenance. Often big donations are restricted funds that are earmarked for scholarships only. State funds are tied up in K-12 and healthcare. Private schools face little margins.
