I never took Ozempic, but I did have pancreatitis 2x and have a Theory that it was related to taking the (pretty new) monthly migraine preventative injection, Aimovig. I had to discontinue it because it elevated my bp to alarming levels.

I have a LOT of issues with Altoona: I fled ASAP for a reason. But there are great people there who are, as I stated in Issue 1, doing the work uphill both ways. When outsiders rip on Altoona…idk, just admit you hate poor people and move on I guess?

A recruiter texted my phone, assuming it was my 17-year-old sons, just 2 weeks after my stepdad died of cancer that was confirmed by the VA to be from Agent Orange exposure. I was as calm and polite as possible; he said he understood and they would not be contacting my family again.

Some of them include: All Star Pizza, JJ Hadley Pizza, Lena’s, ALTO Market (people have driven from NC to get their hoagies), Finelli’s, Jaidee Thai (ALWAYS great), Al’s Tavern. . .these are just off the top of my head. There’s an Indian spot in a house I want to check out.

95% of the posts about Altoona on here are about Altoona Hotel Pizza and 5% are about Luigi Mangione getting arrested at a McDonald’s: two of the worst restaurants the town has to offer lol. I will die on the hill that Altoona (a place I don’t typically defend) actually has good local restaurants.

Grew up there. This was only sold at one hotel that was owned by an alleged cokehead who may or may not have burned the place down for the insurance money. Some current bad actors (tasters?) have tried to “rebrand” it as “Altoona Style.” I’ve never tried (there’s actually good pizza in Altoona).
