In 2003, the SWP got all their members to the Birmingham stop the war coalition and took over the entire organisation that way. They turned the Stop The War Coalition into something they wanted it to be Thats what those 1000+ people did in the Greens.

This is what the Green Party views as the political landscape They have become a small community of people, and if you are outside of the community, you are Israel. And Israel in their views is the evil of evils. They are losing many many voters with this attitude.

personally i believe in many of the policies Polansk is talking about on housing. And more. But the focus of his leadership has shifted to Anti-Zionism. And much of it is his fault, by making Palestine and Zionism the centre of his social media for months. He needs to resign.

Ben, what is interesting to me is how different the vibe is now compared to the Hannah Spencer campaign in February She did not talk about Zionism and her views on Israel are balanced. This motion and many of the new Anti-Zionist members don't seem to get any of that.

That is irrelevant because the members have the chance to go one or two steps further. It is very clear than many Anti-Zionists in the Green Party have a clear problem with people they deem as Zionist. So if you are (in their eyes) a Zionist, they have a big problem with you.

Joseph, the policies of Corbyn were great. Even on Israel . The point is that Anti-Zionist activists came into meetings and on the internet and they were rude and abusive. And racist. This turned alot of people off. And frankly, it would be bad to have them running the UK Govt

I dont think you really get the effect of such motions. Its not the wording. Its the culture around the motion. The comments, the jokes, the attitude of Anti-Zionists. Its those people are their comments that caused massive problems for Corbyn in 2018/19.

Brent Momentum ended this way. Orginally we were a group of NHS activists wanting to defend hospitals and get more funding for the NHS. Then new people joined and they started writing openly Anti-Semitic emails. People in meetings with Nazi conspiracy theories. They killed it all.

I loved Zack Polanski's first few months as Green leader. He united Socialists, Centre-Left Anti-Racists, Animal Rights' activists.....all united against the hate of Reform. He gave hope, but then he moved the focus to Anti-Zionism and now its all collapsing. He needs to resign

I think Polanski needs to resign. He made some excellent videos last year after becoming leader. This included opposing the hate from Reform and talking about homes for the homeless But now, his focus has shifted to Zionism. The hate is getting out of hand. He needs just resign.

People who protested to defend Palestinian rights are leaving the Green Party due to the Anti-Jewish hate. In many ways its the jokes about Jews and the mocking of Jewish members that is the red line.

In my local Green Party, 2 people on our whatsapp group went after Jewish people. They did not write "Zionists." It was Jews they disliked. Nobody complained about their comments, except one Jewish lady. It is not just the abuse of Jewish people, it is the silence of others.

I feel the Green Party is becoming similar to what George Galloway's Party has become, with the focus on Anti-Zionism A party that makes some big noise on Twitter but is hated across the country. With more Anti-Zionists now joining the Greens, they could end up with 2% of the vote.

Though its not just Jews who many Palestinians are descended from. Christians who spoke Greek & Aramaic as well as people with polytheistic beliefs. In reality, Palestine was far more Jewish, far more Christian and far more Non-Arabic speaking than Anti-Zionism claims.

Historically most Palestinians were migrants from other countries who came to Palestine due to the growth in its economy at the start of the 20th Century. Furthermore many native Palestinians are decrescent of Jews forced to convert to Islam due to hate, violence and banning from owning land.

I don't think the Iranian Regime will completely collapse. But I do think major reforms and concessions will be made. A bit like the UK in the 19th where the system did not collapse completely but the ruling parties had to bring in a bunch of liberal reforms.
