A real pleasure to read.

Terrific film notwithstanding a few flaws.

Repulsive mixed with dull.

I quit halfway and had no idea that entire first half was built around a lie.

Lovely and unusual.

Different from the previous two and quite good.

Starts out well for a network show, gets jumbled and somewhat uninteresting by the end.

I postponed this almost immediately because I couldn’t see how I’d make my runners use it consistently and safely.

Slow but pleasant, engrossing, and enjoyable.

Good for what it is apart from that godawful fanservice.

Nice, but not very deep in the little time I spent with it.

Everyone should read my sister’s second book.

Some good, especially the music, but not great.

Feature-length joy and beauty.

My footnotes now become sidenotes on wide screens (where supported).

Epic-ally excellent.

Nutrition and hydration.

Many good things but what a disappointing, un-Wright film.

Au revoir, Garamond; bonjour, Arno Pro.

Enjoyable in an unremarkable way.

I’m Shiv J.M., a software developer from India. I write about technology & software development (Technology); my work (Work); movies, shows, books & games (Thoughts & Spoilers); and whatever else is on my mind (Journal).

Funny and enjoyable, but also horribly sexualized and callous.

Nic Chan made a gorgeous pixel portrait for my cover letter page that I want to use everywhere now.

A great film before it descends into absurdity and transforms.

A better benchmark only reinforces my point.

Wonderful as ever.

So uninteresting for all the talk about it.

Another excellent retelling, so different from the one I’ve read and yet unmistakably by the same hand.

An unforgettably good film despite a few flaws.

Great fun.

A terrific film, then and now.

Not interesting enough for me.

I rewrote my convenience function for inserting blog-local links to offer heading targets.

A good opening, a couple of lackluster episodes, and a few great episodes make this a better season.

I replaced a bunch of PowerShell, Pandoc, and gomplate, but I still use LaTeX (and now three templating libraries).

It’s hard to think of what to say about this extraordinary show that was taken from us long before its time.

It fails to recognize sleep, recognizes the wrong thing as sleep, and randomly recalculates.

A terrific sequel and conclusion notwithstanding the flaws (often the same ones as before).

Not great but better than I expected.

Still an excellent, impressive film.

Funny but not enough to keep my interest.

Some low points but otherwise good Bob’s Burgers fun.

One of the greatest and most beautiful Bollywood films ever made, now and forever.

Another delicious instalment.

I switched my Kubernetes cluster from using SOPS with Helm and Kustomize to using Secrets managed by Terraform and Applications deployed using Jsonnet for flexibility and concision.

Unexpectedly real and enjoyably odd.

I moved from a separate Argo CD Notifications Application to using the integrated notifications.

Enjoyable but just a little less than satisfyingly good.

I rebuilt lab.shivjm.dev with Python, FastAPI, htmx, and Yozo.

Not bad but I don’t feel it needed a second season, really.
