Community waiting for public comment which has been scheduled at the end of the agenda. They’re here to comment on ICE deportation flights departing from airports in the county.

Every time I opt out of facial recognition, a Delta employee will go off about how my info is everywhere anyway. Today I replied “but I’m also trying to save your job.” He replied, thank you”. He responded “ya they are going to replace everyone with AI, then no one will have jobs to buy anything.”

I want a study on the stats of ambidexterity when people use phones. What do most people use their left thumb on vs. right. Has it changed in the era of touch screen phones. For example, I only seem to “like” things with my left thumb and touch to begin editing text with my right.

Border patrol at the inspection site crossing from Arizona to California on the I-10. Further up on the 10 in California, maybe half an hour in, another CBP SUV in the median conducting a speed trap. 93 miles from the Mexican border when I checked, 7 miles short of being out of their jurisdiction.

Friday a United gate attendant forcibly scanned my face instead of my boarding pass when I explicitly asked to opt out of my biometrics being collected. I made a complaint and 3 days later I noticed gates were back to scanning boarding passes when flying through the same terminal. Then this today

Less than 2 hours til the deadline for submitting claims and paying property taxes to prevent foreclosure and the cops evacuated everyone out of the Fishbones atrium where the Treasurer’s office is processing forms today. People were in line for a long time and have lost their place.

Medicaid is the best insurance I’ve ever had. Used it since I was 15. I’d argue it’s better than the CAD MSP I had. Being part-time and contract has been stressful because if I break the poverty line, I lose it and have to budget for Obamacare (even if I’m not that much over), which is not cheap.
