Help needed from locals! I live 4 hours away, I am taking my 85 year old Dad to the game on Saturday. His mobility is not the best, 15 mins walking is ok. Can anyone recommend the best plan for us to get to the game please? Maybe Uber from a car park or something similar?

So the game is Everton v Bournemouth. Why have they spent most of the time talking about Chelsea and Liverpool?

PSG in for IGG. I will be worried if we lose him on a free as it will take serious money to replace!

I wonder how we would have been if Vitor Pereira was hired rather than Lampard. He’s doing an amazing job at Wolves!

After watching the progress of BMD from afar, it was great to eventually get in there. Love it!

There’s a lot of talk of Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison not being good enough. They are our third and fourth choice wingers and in my opinion, are adequate for that role. They wouldn’t be my first choice, but are good outlets and work hard.

Are tickets now available for the BMD stadium tours? My old man is desperate to see it!

Moved to Australia and trying to connect with more Evertonians now that I’m so far away from home. Just got off X and came here instead. Was wondering if anyone would repost and help me out? I’ll follow back all blues. UTT💙 #Everton #UTT #COYB #EFC

Still no Nathan Patterson in training. He was due back for the Palace game, but doing the usual disappearing act. Made of glass isn’t he?!?

Am I watching people leaving the stadium on 70 mins? 🤷‍♂️

Now that we have a manager who is tactically very capable, Thelwell’s signings are proving to be astute (apart from Maupey) considering his budget. Especially Ndiaye, Garner, O’Brien, McNeil and Tarky who were mostly paid for by the money made from Gordon.

WTF is going on you bunch of incompetent weapons!!

This Alcaraz fella passed his medical yesterday. But here we are, two hours before the deadline still waiting for confirmation. Why are we so slow tying up deals 🤷‍♂️

This is the risk that DCL was taking by not signing the contract offer in the summer, hoping to elevate his earning potential. But he has failed to deliver goals and has now confirmed that his hamstring issue is still active. I wonder if he regrets that decision! I would remove the offer now!

Mangala with a torn knee ligament and out for the season. A massive loss for Everton. I wonder what the terms of the loan are and whether it can be terminated.

Footballers such as DCL make my stomach churn. He is holding the club to ransom, thinking he should hold out for a “top” club. Yet, I’m sure my Mum could have finished that sitter tonight, quite frankly it was embarassing. It’s a fair to say that I am upset by it 🤬

000

Powella76 @shiskers.bsky.social · 15/01/2025

I can’t see Everton buying a goal. We have DCL who can’t hit a barn door and wingers that my Mum could tackle. I am seriously worried. Unless recruitment is spot on, Moyes may have the same issues as Dyche!

000

Powella76 @shiskers.bsky.social · 09/01/2025

Has it been communicated anywhere what DCLs injury is?

There is an understanding in football that if players know that a manager is not the long term choice, it undermines their authority. Do you think this could be playing a part in the drop off of form? (Based on 48 points last year not that I think they were any good)

000

Powella76 @shiskers.bsky.social · 05/01/2025

If Beto leaves, as it looks likely, who will replace him? I’m struggling to think of anyone that is realistically going to join this 5hit show system of Dyche.

000

Powella76 @shiskers.bsky.social · 05/01/2025

The difference between Everton and Ipswich is that Everton have a much stronger squad, but Ipswich have a forward thinking and progressive coaching team rather than a dinosaur. One team is improving, the other is regressing at alarming rates!

Powella76 @shiskers.bsky.social · 05/01/2025

Dyche and Thelwell are an embarrassment this year. Last year the squad picked up 48 points and dealt with points deductions. They brough in 4 attackers and they can get the team to register a shot. If TFG don’t play this right and act, their brand will be impacted #dycheout

000

Powella76 @shiskers.bsky.social · 04/01/2025

TFG need to look at the data, it never lies. They will know that. In the corporate world there are bullshitters everywhere setting their own narrative like Dyche is. The only thing that differentiates bullshitters and true performance is data. #dycheout

000

Powella76 @shiskers.bsky.social · 04/01/2025

How can anyone look at the results and think Dyche is doing a good job. He handled last season well from a communication perspective, but this is dreadful, uneventful, boring and incredibly frustrating football that will get us relegated. Whether Friedkins like it or not, they have a problem!

000

Powella76 @shiskers.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

I understand that recruitment is important, but you can’t tell me the squad is playing to its full potential. That comes down to tactics, motivation and fitness which is all down to coaching! He had to go in my opinion and very soon.

000

Powella76 @shiskers.bsky.social · 29/12/2024

Last year, I was incredibly frustrated with how wasteful Everton were with their goal chances. There is a stark difference now, the attacking play seems to be coached out of the players and replaced with a more defensive and rigid setup; now there are no chances being created!

010

Powella76 @shiskers.bsky.social · 19/12/2024

I find it interesting that there is no reference to Sean Dyche in any of the comms. Unless I missed it!

000

Powella76 @shiskers.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

I’m not one to wish an injury on any player, but a mild groin strain for Cole Palmer tomorrow would be ideal 👍

000

Powella76 @shiskers.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

I am really disappointed that Dyche has not improved after surviving last season. The team are better than this, negative tactics seem to be filtering through to negativity in the players. Time for a change!

@mouussey.bsky.social I’ve made the move over here. Do you know if the Bobble, Alan Myers etc… are here?
