I care so much less about him than Lady Murasaki you gotta understand the priorities

I hate that I know enough about Heian era fashion to be deeply annoyed at almost every aspect of this character design. The kind of nerd I was 20+ years ago

Recorded two podcasts today and have spent the entire rest of the day exhausted. Trying not to beat myself up too bad for it given that I had surgery like two and a half weeks ago and am sick and all but it sucks.

For the people who care they hit us with "those things" in the first 20 minutes in an adaptation of a game where there is really explicitly a single thing (not plural). Multiple audio logs including an insane itchy tasty style one.

yeah i generally agree especially if it’s your first time playing a game. if you wanna do ocarina randos at 60 fps that’s one thing but please enjoy games how they are for initial plays

lrt: i’m generally skeptical of re/decomps anyway as I think playing as close to how a game originally looked and played is valuable but it’s crazy how many people in retro games just rolled over for AI. absolute disaster of a space now

I think the retro community deserves to drown in AI garbage when major voices only share the concern of "Well they might not be maintained, but it's all up to the skill of the individual developer of the decomp" www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYZP...
