90 Minutes of nitpicking. Germany didn’t argue its actions in support of Israel’s genocide in Gaza are lawful. It argued that that Nicaragua failed to establish the bureaucratic requirements to press charges. Germany’s four lawyers appeared to lack the most basic human compassion. And the judges?

Very well spoken German lawyers, but saying that “Staatsräson” is related to international law doesn’t make it so. Germany turned its back on the law. Its aggression in WW2 is the reason for establishing the ICJ, and now its complicity with genocide in Gaza threatens to end the ICJ.
