Oh, okay, Mike. I'm a little out of the loop with some of the local sightings. Please pass on my thanks to the finder if you can. Thanks for the info this afternoon though. Despite some calling, one of the most elusive YBWs I've encountered. Day was getting on though. 👍

Nice to find the site's first #GreatNorthernDiver of the autumn 🍁 distantly off the Point at S Devon's #HopesNose this morning. A true harbinger of the advancing season. Yesterday's Cetti's Warbler still present but elusively calling from deep scrub. #UKBirding #DevonBirds @birdtrack.bsky.social

Hope's Nose, S Devon this AM. I did not expect to find my first site Cetti's Warbler at the bottom of the first slope! Perhaps the first record here for several decades? 🤔 Mobile and vocal - it showed briefly on half a dozen occasions. #UKBirding #DevonBirds @backwardbirder.bsky.social #birds

Today's migrant #SpottedFlycatcher in the 🌞 at S Devon's, #HopesNose. It was mobile and elusive early on, before giving itself up late morning. A surprisingly scarce species for the site, with just a handful of records in recent years. #UKBirding #DevonBirds
