Defended my Master’s thesis today… and passed with flying colors!! I was told by my committee that our project not only blew everyone’s expectations out of the water but “set a precedent for both the Master’s program and the entire building as a whole going forward” So a pretty successful day 😌

I had a goal I set for myself in 2024: Win every local on the west coast. Sunset Surge ✅ SoCallie ✅ Booyah Bay ✅ CALterna ✅ SeaBATTLE! ✅ It’s my goal this year to become the FIRST player to take home 1st🥇 place at every single local across the states while maintaining my titles in the west coast.

We just won SeatBattle!!! And now that means I’m the first person to win every local in the southwest 👀 here’s to much bigger things in 2025

Your friendly reminder to aim at the edges of geometry

3668 66

Shiny 🏳️‍⚧️ @shinypikmin.sunsetsurge.ink · 12/11/2024

When fading out or rotating from a fight you should never fully switch your mentality to retreating. Only give up as much space as you need, analyze your surroundings (take a shot if you can find a safe one) and continue to back up while always looking for opportunities to punish over-extension.

0370 37

Shiny 🏳️‍⚧️ @shinypikmin.sunsetsurge.ink · 12/11/2024

Mixing up the rhythm of your shots allows you to not only take in more information but also lets you to react to the paint/pressure you are putting on enemy players, allowing you to punish their movement accordingly. (notice how I'm also aiming at the edges of geometry here too 😉)

1330 33

Shiny 🏳️‍⚧️ @shinypikmin.sunsetsurge.ink · 12/11/2024

When shooting to hit enemies, aim at edges of geometry. The first and last shots are the best examples. Crosshair placement like this allows for a higher likelihood of hitting shots as the enemy often just walks into your laser. (works for all charges but is best on Bamboo and Pencil)
