PAX West was about a month ago, and I haven't been able to get back to Perfecting things in Rhythm Heaven Groove, but I did finally open my copy of Rose & Camellia Collection the following weekend so tonight, I decided to beat the final scenario: the bonus La-Mulana chapter. 1/2

We made Round1's Fist of the North Star, "Sip of the North Star Punch" but @kiwikamikaze.bsky.social said, "there should be an entire constellation in that drink" so I had the idea of adding some edible glitter. You can barely see it in the pic but it's a nice touch. Drink is too sweet though...

Finally got Rhythm Heaven Groove and 3 other games in the mail after ordering them a month ago. I hate slow and non-free shipping. Hopefully I'll get at least all gold medals by Friday.

Learned of this Mega Man: The Wily Wars Mega Hack v3.0 romhack that improves a lot of things like less lag, 5 bullets, adds slide, and MD+, which is basically SNES' MSU-1. Used Basty Tracks OST, which is great. Also used a Weapon Master Patch, which let you use all weapons in every game.

They announced a collection recently, but I still wanted to play Bomberman II on my Nt mini. I hadn't played this in probably over 30 years. Cheated a little and used a remote bomb password lol. Also used a patch to fix sound samples, which was news to me. I had 5 game overs cuz of self detonation.

After several days of farming for Junk, I finally reached 300 Junks and decided on the P90 Machine Gun as my ultimate weapon. Realistically, I don't think I'll ever get the other Junk weapons in a timely manner. Maybe in 20 years if I'm still alive. We'll see.

1st round of Parasite Eve completed. I wanted to finish it before New Year's but by Day 4, the time got longer (and other obligations.) Not sure how far I'll play but I'll need to finish at least 1 EX Game to get the next ending and to conquer the Chrysler Building I want +999 +999 +999 equipment.

Why not. Mega Man 2 Revamped. This felt better to play compared to 1 (probably cuz different author.) The redesigned levels felt fair and the rebalance was what I expected. I also applied fast life fill and friction patches. Already played 3. MM7 Lemon 🔜 Tomorrow, I finally start Parasite Eve...

Heard about a Mega Man 1 Revamped so I beat it tonight. If you've never played Mega Man 1 before, this is the way to go. Play control is tighter, there's some rebalancing, some sprites updated, and it has a fresh coat of paint. Adds some new gimmicks making some levels more interesting. 1/2

Battletoads was released for NSO today and I decided to do a run without any savestates/rewind (except to test a couple of things out.) It's been years, but I managed to get near the end of Rat Race (Level 10), which is cheap as hell. Not bad...but fuck you, rrat. #NintendoSwitchOnline

I don't have any proof, but I was at a BBQ for my bro on Saturday and I played Mega Man X on his friend's SNES Classic. I used a Hadoken password (+ skipped Leg upgrade after beating Chill Penguin) and beat the game with no other upgrades/Hadoken only on most of the run/bosses lol.

The proof is not real again but X-Buster only on bosses on real hardware for Mega Man X3 MSU-1 (Genesis/Mega Drive OST.) Only exception was killed Bit/Byte with weakness on last hit so I coud fight Press Disposer. Kept Vile alive to rematch in his new mech. Game is hard as hell early on.
