I am the absolute biggest fan of bully breeds. pitties, bulldogs, bull terriers, etc. you name it. probably my fave grouping of dogs

getting gas in the morning just to waste it sitting in bumper to bumper traffic on 35

I took pics after luna played with the hose then rolled around in her kennel & they did not disappoint

I'll see a plane blink twice quickly & be like "see luka? airbus" then if one is landing I'll be like "keep watching it..." & sure enough you'll see the landing lights turn on shortly before they fly over us since they'll suddenly get REALLY bright. it makes me giddy I can't lie

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

on the balcony demonstrating to my fiancé (against their will) that airbus planes tend to have wing lights that blink twice while boeing planes tend to blink once + that you can see planes in this flight path heading into DFW turn on their landing lights by pointing this out every time it happens

oh yeah I'm fine! I didn't even hear anything happen, just got the email shortly after

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

saw someone once say they didn't realize guinea pigs actually sounded like the noises they make in pui pui molcar & I am Very happy to report that guinea pigs do in fact just sound like that

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

yeah it was awful. the one person aboard the plane died. insane that it was so close

110

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

got a work email saying there was a plane crash like maybe 10 mins from here

250

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

earlier today I was washing the guinea pigs' vegetables & cheese ran out of the pen & as he ran around, he was wheeking loudly & repeatedly then had to stop to cough loudly then went right back to wheeking & I nearly lost my shit. toddler moment

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I like to reserve tuesdays as my chore days since it's my last day of my weekend + the fiancé is working so I've been getting lots of cleaning & stuff done either because I just need to or to prepare for the week ahead & now it's 74° outside with a breeze so it's time for coffee & reading outside 🫰

straight up what today has felt like

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

they have an amazing collection of all sorts of things!! they even have an RC A320neo (for a mere $700) 🤯 & they also have a pretty big airbus beluga model I want. they even had the bocchi model kit I want (but I gotta wait on her). this place is Awesome

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

found a really cool hobby shop today that we will happily be stopping by again soon (they even have build nights! we're probably gonna go to one here in a few weeks!) & got some planes!!! an A350-900 & a teeny spirit plane (fly high 🫡🕊️)

felt like NASA mission control celebrating when he finally took off. he did it 🩷

000

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I got very invested in this guy's conversation with ATC. ATC got a little exasperated with him when he wasn't ready to takeoff but also wasn't getting off the runway quick enough 😭 heard "you need to move you're blocking traffic now Please turn right" & "are you ready Now"

787 sightings today (1st one is a -8 and the other 2 are -9s which are my faves)

000

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

also last week they didn't seem to be permitting landings or heavy takeoffs on the runway I was facing which was a bummer so I hope that's fine now. I enjoyed the takeoffs I did see but I was really hoping the 787s and 777s taxiing around would take off from there...

never mind we're dumb as bricks and just didn't see the big straws anywhere so we just assumed this place was getting a little avant garde with it but no. slow feeder boba was self-imposed

000

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

a boba shop we like is using smaller pearls & thus smaller straws but as a result it's making us drink way slower. slow feeder boba drinks

whether through means of violence or dogs being unable to be adopted at shelters due to housing restrictions, leading to higher rates of euthanasia as these shelters overflow. the sweetest dogs I've ever met usually tend to be pit bulls & they shouldn't have to pay for human prejudice

♡ aeron ₊˚✩彡 @shinesprite.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

cannot describe just how evil "banned breed" lists are. there's no such thing as an inherently aggressive dog breed -- it's a matter of how a dog was raised & what behaviors were enforced in them. there's no safety in these lists as they simply lead to innocent dogs being abused & killed

I love when a pittie looks like a hippo. it's just so right. my silly lil hippopotamuses 🦛

dealing with bursts of amnesia while at work sucks because I keep asking things like "did I say this yet? did I do this for you yet?" & I can't simply say "sorry I have DID" because that'd be dangerous so instead they get to assume I'm a stupid idiot dumbass
