I have heard writers on AO3 bewildered at the recent trend of readers no longer commenting. I thought it would be fun to make a little challenge, encouraging people to spend the first full week of January commenting on various fics. Please share this around! #AO3 #ArchiveOfOurOwn #fanfiction

An infographic with the header "AO3 Comment Challenge January 3-9, 2027"
For anyone who wants to make commenting more often one of their new year's resolutions. Let's star the new year off with a bang.
Day 1 your favorite fic
Day 2 a 5+ year old fic
Day 3 each chapter of a longer work
Day 4 an unfinished fic
Day 5 a fic from your bookmarks
Day 6 a one shot
Day 7 a fic that contains a favorite tag
