For context- John Adair, who is a co-owner of Sooke Brewing Co. (so really can't be "terminated") posted a photo of himself wearing a residential school denying tshirt on Truth And Reconciliation Day. He was proud of it and literally said it with his whole chest. He meant to harm.

Major concerns about what appears to be their proposal to involve Hour Zero Emergency Preparedness Systems in New West schools, as it is not only a for profit organization but also US based. Not really clear what information this company collects/manages and who they share that information with.

This guy was a real eye opener after a lifetime of Golden Retrievers. Never has a dog been so dumb but so complicated. His brain is just a Rube Goldberg machine of random ramps and tubes- and the decision/thought marble usually doesn't make it to wherever it's supposed to go.

My dog Holly at 4 months watching the extremely skilled and powerful Miss Elizabeth Black doing her beam routine at the last Olympics. Riveted. The only time she stopped her mayhem and showed any interest in the tv.

This one. The photos do not do it justice. It sits above the whole space and fills it with its presence. I won't say "dominates" it because this is not the sense I got. "Overlooks" maybe? Anyhow, it's wonderful.

The 1st one maybe not such a great photo, but absolutely captured the happiest moment of our old girl's life on her final camping trip- lying in the forbidden zone (no dogs under the table!!) and just knowing she was going to get bacon and eggs. 2nd photo- never were there 2 more confounded dogs.

Here's my lad giving excellent airplane ears. Lest you think he is mistreated in any way- he demanded to be let out, immediately turned and glared through the door. When we opened it to let him in, he refused. He just wanted us to implement the Summer Patio Open Door Policy and we failed to oblige.

Glasgow, sometimes being slightly behind the culinary times, has recently discovered the things in bowls made of bread and run with it. Pasta carbonar in a garlic bread bowl? Yep. Butter chicken in a naan bowl? Double check. Or how about spaghetti and meatballs in a bread cone? Oh yes!

Lucy=JOY!!! Mixed reaction with our kids- mind, the golden is never less than thrilled at everything and the setter always glum. Setter spent much of his time on the way home stopping & holding his paw up so the balled up snow could be removed while the golden crashed around trying to eat everything

Jellied Bird's Nest Fungus (Nidula candida)
A very close up photo of a cup shaped fungus growing out of a fallen log. It has a smooth inside and a wooly textured outside. It is white around the rim and greenish towards where it is attached to the log. There are some small grey lentil shaped fruiting bodies inside the cup and what looks like some algae or bits of moss caught in the fuzz around the rim.

Fluted Bird's Nest Fungus (Cyathus striatus)
A cluster of cup shaped fungus with smooth white insides and brown outsides that almost look like it has the texture of wet sea otter fur. There are several small white lentil shaped fruiting bodies nestled inside each cup. The cluster of 8 mushrooms is growing amidst wet bark mulch and leaf litter.

Woolly Bird's Nest Fungus (Nidula niveotomentosa)
A single bright creamy white fuzzy cup shaped fungus growing from a stick on the forest floor. It has a yellow, almost caramel coloured inside, with small toffee coloured lentil shaped fruiting bodies nestled in the bottom of the cup.

Common Bird's Nest Fungus (Crucibulum laeve)
5 cup shaped mushrooms growing close together in amongst some damp bark mulch. They have butterscotch coloured interiors and orange-brown outsides. There are little piles of pale yellow lentil shaped fruiting bodies inside each cup.

He's my very special, sensitive, boy. He's honestly the sweetest, most simplest of dogs I've ever met. Berry quality control is a very important specialist job- well done Ziggy! My guy is a more of a generalist and will declare all fruits are fine, even rotten windfall apples. I think he's more of a #1 who "thinks" he has a job, but really is not qualified.

A cluster of cup shaped fungi with light grey striated insides and fuzzy brown outsides There are several tiny white lentil shaped fruiting bodies in each cup. The cluster is growing in a bed of wet bark mulch.

Woolly Bird's Nest Fungus (Nidula niveotomentosa)
A small single cream coloured cup shaped fungi with a fuzzy outer surface and a yellow interior growing on a twig and lying on the damp forest floor amongst fir needles and bits of forest debris. The interior of the cup also contains several small bead shaped fruiting bodies.

Purple Jellydisc (Ascocoryne sarcoides)

My absolute favorite to pull out as needed. I've seen one with seagulls and broken railings too, but the internet does not have enough images of cats posted and I will do my part.
