I have a deep love of metafiction and metanarrative to the point where I've always wanted to run a TTRPG where the antagonist is trying to stop the *players*, not the *characters*. Gods playing with the world for fun and the antagonist hates it. I guess on some level that idea started with Kreia

Yeah, It fits really well now I see it. It definitely adds a new dimension to Kreia's whole deal. I could always tell there was a deep bitterness behind her pursuit of the death of the force through the exile. Her struggle being against fate/narrative/author adds a wonderful spin to it

I never really stopped to think about the force as a metaphor for the narrative. I played it as a teen and before I developed my habits of really analysing what I love. The Force being what weaves through all life in the universe being a representation of the author makes a lot of sense

I don't think it sounds too cheesy. To choose to keep living can be tough sometimes. I think whenever you find a reason, no matter what it is, no matter how big or small, it's worthwhile. I don't think that will ever be cheesy (to someone like me who also struggles with it anyway)
