Oh, we switching from 'just go outside' to 'you just don't know how to look for non-fake stuff'? This has already infected book publishing, journaling, photo banks, live news. Pretty much every "reliable" source, not just feeds. Please learn the extent of the issue if you want to weight in on it.

I want to see scenery and nature from other continents, I want to see gorgeous architecture from other cultures! It's enriching to learn about more than what's close around you, and telling a person who enjoys that experience that it can be replaced by just existing more outside is dumb af.

This is nonsense! I live in the middle of a 15 million people city. There are amazing things here, sure, but I want to see more than what I know, and the internet was great for that until like 8 years ago! I want to see more animals than house pets or rats and doves!

Brandon Sanderson goes the other way, calls each volume in a saga "An SagaName Novel" and all of them start at Chapter 1.

Then, every book was divided in several chapters numbered with roman numbers and their own name, which reset every time a new book started (for example Book 1 has parts I ~ XII, Book 2 has chapter I~X, etc).

So Fellowship contains books 1 and 2, Two Towers contains books 3 and 4 and Return of the King contains books 5 and 6, each of which had it's own name.

I feel like I've seen this many times and I'm blanking, but the one example I can think of is the lord of the rings, in where the story was divided in 3 novels (fellowship of the ring, the two towers, the return of the king) but the story as a whole was divided in 6 consecutive books, two per novel

It's exactly what it is. Hydration has been happening in football for AGES during matches. When the weather is too much, until this cup, pauses took 1 literal minute, which is definitely long enough for the players to drink but not enough for ads, or for the rhythm of the game to break.

I'm more focused on working with certain visual elements and concepts over specific characters in the image, so having a bit of direction for what to work on would help me a bunch, if only to figure out an order of priorities and options I may not have considered.

That being said, beyond a couple of scenes I have in mind already, (Cthulhu, I'm nothing if not predictable), I wanted to know what other monster-loving people might want to see.

As of yesterday, I've starting working on a series of paintings revolving around these ideas, the intersections between love, horror, worship and sexuality. I know I'm not inventing the wheel or anything, but I really love the points where these concepts collide.

The recent paintings I've been doing for Malevolent made me realize that relationships between monsters and humans are something I feel very deeply about, so I want to continue exploring that, just not restricted to a given fandom.

I've been feeling for a while that I need a bit of a new direction for my art. I still love the Malevolent fandom, but I also feel it's been a very long time since I've focused on personal original work and I've been craving it for a long while.

People like Kane and many many others that do care about human art and the creative process have been a beacon of hope while trying to navigate making art in this current climate.

For me the whole point of doing what I'm doing-art is a way of processing life. I don't see the value in outsourcing any element of that.

When I'm looking at someone else's project, if I see an element of the environment [where] they use generative fill or whatever to change something about the scene, it just shuts off the part of my brain that wants to know more about that world. Because I would assume if they're willing to make an arbitrary choice there, they could make an arbitrary choice with literally anything.
