Asuto, Tenma, Tsurugi and the Endous seem to be simply domestic shorthairs (in white, orange tabby, bicolour tuxedo and calico!), gouenji's is a mainecoon! (those ear tufts!!) I feel Kari got the others correct! I love this collab!!!

what worked for me was getting a sketchbook and drawing absolute garbage selfindulgent sketches with the only goal of "fill the page", eventually the drawings got better and then reached a "i wanna finish this one digitally!" stage. this was specifically due to comm burnout so helped w creativity!

I can't stop thinking about it! T-T I don't think I'd be where I am without the online communities I had as a teenager. I'm still happy we were able to experience those nice memories and support though, I hope things can change some day again

Something about the ina11 fandom in the 2010s was really nostalgic... I think about it a lot as well. Trying to get into the exact same fandom in the 2020s is just night and day, the vibe of fandoms has just completely changed to be anti-social... Things change though and I hope this can change too

Reading this really made me happy, bless you. I love the same types of artists a lot. There's a devil on my shoulder that tells me "your account is getting messy!" any time i post anything other than a finished piece, but it's a feeling I hope more people can fight against. I love seeing sincerity

Gah, that sucks! I think people have this weird idea today that everyone needs to be a professional artist, and therefore everyone holds everyone else to the standard of a professional artist. When actually... I'd rather see harmless hobbyist fun on dA than the AI wasteland it is today!

I agree so much! I used to love joining random iscribble boards to draw pokemon with people back in the early 2010s. I think seeing things like wplace be so popular today is a testament that people do still want to do things like draw for fun together

I cant stop thinking about old deviantart (like mid-late 2000s) and how you could trace a picture of an anime dog with a pencil, and you'd still have a whole little community of friends and followers, shared ocs and stories, iscribble sessions, all that stuff. it felt so easy for anyone to have fun
