Lil ercoupe guy! These airplanes didn’t come with rudder pedals, instead yaw was perfectly tied in with roll and the yoke to keep the plane coordinated. Inspired by @planeyboys.bsky.social

Airport board guy comes up to me to show some incident he caught on his ring camera he installed. Was just my car parked normal. Leading me on about this “incident”, turns out it was apparently me leaving the bathroom light on. Just tell me directly! Enough of making me guess!

Welp in today’s episode of training for my A&P license, we changed a cylinder on a R-985 Weatherly. That was fun! it sucked! It fought back and I am covered in oil!

The idea came from the Blackburn B44 and Cassutt M11. The B44 retracts its floats for better performance. The Cassut uses a Cessna 150 engine (~110mph) but it’s lightweight and sleek able to get to ~240mph. So combine the retracting float and the lightweight sleek design, and I lost the plot and era

Family got me a model of our L-18C super cub, the first plane I soloed in, for a graduation gift. Painted in its original Italian colors. This is just the most amazing thing. They gave it regular super cub details instead of the 95hp cub stuff, but it’s just as cool.
