I've had my criticisms of FA management and the like over the years, but there's no getting around the fact FA is one of the last places left that truly serves furry art and the community as a whole. No algorithms, no AI, no data stealing. From here on out I'm a FA+ subscriber.

One of the things that's awesome about getting commissioned art is knowing you have something that an awesome creative person put a lot of love and effort into, knowing they could take your idea and create something wonderful from it that you can't do yourself. AI "art" accomplished none of that.

But you're just using it to make your life easier? Cut out the fat so you can focus on what matters? It's creating a dependency is what it's doing. Each time you use it as a shortcut it's your own skills being degraded to the point you can't do it without them anymore, and you're hooked.

Don't use AI guys. No, not even for that. Doesn't matter how innocent your case feels. They want you to think it's harmless. It isn't. It's still built on a foundation of environmental exploitation, neighborhood-destroying datacenters and new caste of billionaire sociopaths. Just don't do it.
