Catching up on @tangledstarlight.bsky.social’s YouTube channel today and skirting the skirtings to prep for sending to the mill for roving. This Corrie lamb fleece from Flo (rence Ewe) is EXACTLY what I want to spin and it’s all I can do not to drop everything and just go play with some 😮‍💨🐑🧶

My favorite rendition of “Do not go gentle into that good night” is Michael Sheen’s and tonight it’s doing the work of #RadicalizingMySheep

Let’s imagine I was just saying this about this guy ripping his coat and spending all afternoon playing in mud puddles 😬 Or the SAVE Act. Or both. #RadicalizingMySheep

Broke it to the littles that their shepherdess is, in fact, a millennial who did, in fact, go to Warped Tour. So when Choice by Allapartus came across my feed, it made me nostalgic despite never having heard it before. All’s fair in love and #RadicalizingMySheep 🤷‍♀️🤣🐑🥰

We’re frankly still working through Sen Booker material and grateful to be doing so. Over 25 hours of material to continue #RadicalizingMySheep Here’s a quick know your sheep/lamb game for anyone interested: right to left in this video, guess the % Corriedale (with the remainder being Merino).

Told little miss thing here about how proud we are of Sen. Cory Booker (and how wonderful it is to take something from Thurmond at this time and in this way) over dinner tonight. Another night of successfully #RadicalizingMySheep

Someone asked for an update on the little guy who needed tubed - happy to say he’s getting better every day! Still kind of a doofus about eating without help finding the right spot but I don’t think even that trouble will last much longer. Bonus we get a very snuggly (but not bottle fed) lamb ❤️🐑

The new song from Welles got the little ladies (one in particular) particularly fired up during today’s #RadicalizingMySheep ❤️🐑💃 (Tentatively naming her Galambdriel…might be an LOTR year for the girlies)

Well, the white boys got right to raising hell the minute they met. But only in the good ways, because I’m on day 67 of #RadicalizingMySheep and this is a radical rams only farm. Enjoy Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger as much as these hellions…if you dare.

Lest anyone think that #RadicalizingMySheep is focused only on lambs now, a quick check in on the yearling ladies. They were VERY intrigued by some surprise/unplanned new arrivals this morning 🤫🤷‍♀️

This ADORABLE guy has had a tough time getting going (MARKED improvement over the past 14 hours). He’s the 1st I’ve had to tube feed this year and it’s my 1st year having the “Trusti Tuber” from Premier 1. Possibly the best $25 I’ve spent on sheep supplies. Shepherd friends on the fence, get it.

Finishing up the skirting I started last night and just finished this morning, Frank Spinatra. I’m probably going to keep him as a result of this impossible to photograph fleece even though I had convinced myself I didn’t need to… Graze’s twin & Ramilton’s half bro by blood but full bro by vibes 🤘

Ok, first the fleece I skirted and didn’t post yesterday. Starting with the ram, the myth, the legend…Ramilton ❤️ Complete with his “getting to be an old man” silver patches. Very dapper.

Tough day in #RadicalizingMySheep. We’d never lost a lamb. He was so beautiful. Perfect. His poor mama & I both cried when neither of us could get him to take a breath despite our varied attempts. Well, still our only dude but he’s a cute one! Don’t tell Ms. Katie I said anything, but I’m pretty sure this is the nicest she has ever been to me. Maybe because her boy loves the booty scratches so much. Tonight’s #RadicalizingMySheep is I’d Miss the Birds by Joy Oladokun ❤️🐑
