Since I developed autistic burnout, this has become extremely common for me. I also note frequently find myself writing words phonetically, that aren't phonetic, despite knowing their proper spelling. My brain just decides to check out and leave me guessing why it looks wrong.

I read something similar with regards to accents. I could kind of understand that, in so much as someone who's never heard the accent might have difficulty understanding, but if care is made, I think it still isn't a big issue.
