Since this is the first year, we are keeping things as manageable as possible while we learn what works best. We are absolutely open to considering different voting methods in future years, including options like Google Forms, once we have a better idea of what works well for this event.

000

Shell of Honor Awards @shellofhonor.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Thank you for the suggestion! I definitely appreciate you taking the time to share it. While we know the AFFA used a different voting system, the Shell of Honor Awards is a completely separate event with its own organization and processes.

110

Shell of Honor Awards @shellofhonor.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Depending on how this first year goes, we are definitely looking at other voting options for future events. Our goal is to make the awards as accessible as possible while still keeping the process manageable and fair.

000

Shell of Honor Awards @shellofhonor.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

I know not everyone uses Twitter/X anymore, and I completely understand that. That's why all event updates, the nominee list, and other information will still be shared across the event's social media and Strawpage so everyone can follow along, even if they choose not to vote.

100

Shell of Honor Awards @shellofhonor.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Since this is the first year of the Shell of Honor Awards we made the decision to keep all voting on a single platform. Having votes split across multiple sites would make it much harder to manage, verify, and present the results fairly.

200

Shell of Honor Awards @shellofhonor.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

🗳️ As a reminder, all voting will take place exclusively on Twitter/X through the official Shell of Honor Awards account. Please remember to vote fairly and avoid empty votes, we encourage everyone to read the fics they're voting for whenever possible 💚 See you tomorrow! #shellofhonor #TMNTFanfic
